Overview

The Financial Management System supports the automation and storage of the university’s financial information.  It handles the storage, analysis, management and processing of financial transactions, records and processes.  Some specific areas included are:  Accounts Payable, Chart of Accounts, Budget, Financial Reporting and Banking.

Who can use this Service?

University users who have a university-issued credit card utilize the system to support their reconciliation.  Those who have fiscal responsibility for departmental budgets use the system to report on their budgets.

How can I get this Service?

Access to the Finance system may be requested using the Request Finance Access form in the IT Service Portal. Your request should include the organization numbers for which you are requesting access. Your supervisor’s approval will be required. Training on use of the Finance system is also required. You can register for training classes through MyMadison.

After completing the Finance Access form and attending training, you can access the Finance System.
