Overview

Zoom a cloud-based web conferencing tool for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat, and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems. Zoom allows you to meet face-to-face using HD video conferencing; share your desktop, documents, or individual applications with everyone in the meeting. It provides collaboration with people within and outside JMU.

How can I get this Service?

Faculty, Staff, and Students - login with your eID, password and Duo at https://jmu-edu.zoom.us.

HIPAA License Request - If you need to use Zoom for meetings that include HIPAA or personally-identifiable health data, submit a Technology Solution Request. (TSR)

Managing participant behavior in online classes or meetings

If you encounter disruptive behavior during an online class or meeting you have a number of options in Zoom and Webex.
