Adjusted hours for Fall Break

The Pharmacy will be open from noon to 4 p.m., from Oct. 12 to 14.
The Univeristy Health Center will be open during regular hours.
Hours of Operation

Monday–Wednesday 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Thursday 9 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Friday 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

Clinics closed for lunch 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
Pharmacy closed for lunch noon–1 p.m.

Online scheduling is available or you can call 540-568-6178 for an appointment. The Urgent Care clinic accepts walk-ins for needs such as acute injuries, female UTIs and more.

If JMU is closed or delayed, the UHC will be on the university's schedule. If you have an appointment during the time we're closed, please reschedule using MyJMUChart or by calling 540-568-6178 option 2.


Since the World Health Organization has identified Monkeypox as a global health emergency, the JMU community should be aware of the role the University Health Center (UHC) can play related to this disease.

The UHC can provide the following services related to Monkeypox.

  1. Any student who is concerned they have Monkeypox or has been exposed  to a known Monkeypox case can be evaluated at the UHC.
  2. The UHC can coordinate testing for Monkeypox through LabCorp.
  3. The UHC can help coordinate any indicated treatment through consultation with the Central Shenandoah Health Department and/or the CDC.
