Since mobile use is increasing everyday, content creators must always be thinking of how their content will look on mobile devices. Therefore, JMU websites are "responsive," which means that the webpage and its elements will adapt to the size of the screen the user is viewing it on. One common mantra is to think "Mobile First," which can be helpful as you make content layout decisions. Most of this thinking has already been done for you with the built-in responsive functionality of Cascade; however, there will be times when you may want to ask yourself: how would this look on a phone?
If you are interested in this subject, you can check out the following resources. You are not required to read these resources, but they may further inform you on understanding the importance of creating responsive websites.
