What do I do at the Counseling Center?

Hi, I’m Naia! I became a Facility Dog (a trained service dog that works alongside a handler to improve care, reduce stress, and assist with therapeutic goals) in June 2020 through Canine Companions. I’m a very calm half Golden Retriever and half Labrador Retriever. I love meeting new people! My favorite thing to do is to show people my stuffies and then get belly rubs.

You can typically find me in the Victim Advocacy suite with my mom, Kim, or doing outreach events across campus. If I’m not at work, I’m probably napping on my bed or finding a sunny spot in the yard. I love going on adventures in the car, swimming, and eating treats. I can’t wait to meet you!
