The Counseling Center will be closed on Monday, 1/26/26, due to inclement weather. 

Appointments that were scheduled when the Center is closed are canceled, and will be rescheduled for a later date/time once the Center reopens. All appointments following the official University opening time remain as scheduled.

Even when the Counsleing Center is CLOSED, 24/7 crisis service options are available to JMU students experiencing a mental health emergency (e.g., thoughts or plans to kill yourself, thoughts of seriously harming others, recent sexual assault).

If this is not a mental health emergency, know that mental health support services are also available through TimelyCare.
