What do I do at the Counseling Center?

I am a licensed professional counselor and provide individual and group counseling services. I coordinate our intake and crisis services and the crisis response and recovery track for our doctoral interns. I also co-coordinate the Counseling Center’s Licensed Professional Counselor training program.

What's it like to work with me?

I strive to empower individuals to move towards wellness through alignment in the therapeutic process. I integrate a cognitive behavioral approach with an emphasis on solution focused treatment, attachment and family systems. I have experience addressing a wide variety of issues, which include trauma, grief and loss, managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, self-exploration and identity development.  I also draw from a variety of professional experiences through my work in the community with social services and community mental health, including inpatient behavioral health hospitalization and partial hospitalization treatment programs.
