WRTC majors study and facilitate written and spoken communication. Successful students are those equipped with ideas, cultural viewpoints, an understanding of human values, and a desire to create literary art. Studying abroad gives WRTC majors the opportunity to gain different perspectives, cultural experiences to draw from, and appreciation for foreign worldviews. Foreign experiences can lend a hand to more vibrant descriptions or introduce the student to unfamiliar concepts.
See the list of recommended study abroad programs below. Please be aware that for any external or exchange study abroad programs listed, students will need to check with their academic department to see if courses taken while abroad will transfer and fulfill needed requirements.
