Earth Science has a clear global focus- climate change, preservation, natural disasters, and the exploration for natural resources are things affecting countries across the world. Studying abroad offers Earth science majors the unique opportunity to get out in the world and see what planet Earth is made of, how it works, and how other people regard and study it. Studying Abroad can also be a great time to gain cross-cultural skills by satisfying general education requirements or the elective credits allotted to Earth Science majors.
See the list of recommended study abroad programs below. Please be aware that for any external or exchange study abroad programs listed, students will need to check with their academic department to see if courses taken while abroad will transfer and fulfill needed requirements.
