CGE Virtual Internships in Spain

Did you know... You can intern abroad remotely with companies based in Spain!

New for summer 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. This unique opportunity allows students to work on a global level and yet stay local. An online internship can be done from anywhere, allowing students to have flexibility and freedom to work and gain professional experience remotely. Let us help you find an international internship in your potential field today!

Program Description:

Students will have the option to choose between a 4 week or 6 week remote experience. Dates are flexible with anticipated start dates in May, June or July so you can find a time that works best for your summer schedule. Costs and credits are the same for either the 4 or 6 week option (3 credits).

JMU partner, Euroace, provides the internship placements based on students' areas of interest and experience. You can find placements in such areas as:

  • Marketing
  • Business
  • Media
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Legal
  • Design
  • IT
  • Journalism

Sample Internship Placements

Program Location: Throughout Spain (virtual)

Course Choice:

  • UNST 490/IB 294: CGE Virtual Internship in Spain (3-credits)
    (IB 294 for NON-IB majors only)

Program Dates: June 1 - July 10 for Summer 2020

Cost

What's included:

Tuition only for 3 credits (no program fee added) - Includes placement, orientation, lectures on international business, and day-to-day support from Euroace.

Summer 2020 Tuition:

  • In State: $420 per credit hour
  • Out of State: $987 per credit hour

*Spanish lessons are available at an additional cost. Students should contact a Program Director if interested in adding Spanish lessons.

Application Information

Applicant Criteria:

  • Applicants must have a GPA minimum of 2.0
  • Spanish is not required
  • Open to all majors
