Get registered. Unregistered Vehicle tickets add up quickly and can come back to haunt you. Pay your permit fee to avoid $100 fines.

Read the signs. Signs at lot entrances show who is allowed to park there, and when. Also look for signs in front of special reserved spaces.

Allow plenty of time. Plan to leave home about an hour before class so you can get through traffic, find a space, and walk to your destination.

Skip the space hunt! Circling around full parking lots just leads to frustration. It’s faster and easier to park in remote lots with open space and walk to class.

Park in a legal space. Avoid parking in striped areas or on sidewalks and streets, even with your hazard lights on. Fire lanes are a definite no-go!
