We are delighted to be a part of your JMU journey!

Whether this is your first college adventure or you are joining us with some classes under your belt, we are here to help you get started. The Orientation and Transition experience is laid out in three phases to prepare you for your arrival at JMU. Learn more about each current phase below.

The One Book Experience

The One Book Experience is broken down into two parts; the New Student Checklist and The One Book publication. Both of these resources will be available in March 2026.
