Sociology is the study of social life and organization. What better way to study social groups than be immersed in them? Students on study abroad examine the human condition and study the way groups/individuals from other cultures interact. Study abroad broadens global perspectives for social systems in order for the student to better problem solve, make connections, and contextualize human problems.
See the list of recommended study abroad programs below. Please be aware that for any external or exchange study abroad programs listed, students will need to check with their academic department to see if courses taken while abroad will transfer and fulfill needed requirements.
