Students studying life processes in the Biophysical Chemistry field can gain a strong background for the job industry and/or graduate work through a study abroad program. Not only will students have the opportunity to study their discipline in a foreign country, but they will also have experiences to acquire cross-cultural competencies that can be beneficial in any chemically related career, such as medicine, industrial science, teaching, or business. Students majoring in Biophysical Chemistry may also find benefit by using their elective credit or general education requirements to supplement an international experience.
