Jaen, Spain

Program Description

It will include a great deal of Philosophy, the true meaning from the Greek: “Love of Wisdom.” Unlike other classes you may have taken before, this one will allow you to spend more time discussing all the things that are important in your life and in your future within a safe support group. Two professors with decades of experience in over 30 countries will team up with you to begin to create the outline of the life story that you will write for yourself.

Does the world outside of college seem confusing and overwhelming? What is truly important in life, and how can we concentrate on that? How do we chart a path that leads us to happiness, mastery, autonomy and purpose?

This program is about navigating the rapids and focusing on what is important to get you to one of the many possible destinations your life path can take (yes, the good news is that there are multiple paths and each may be full of wonder and fulfillment.)

This class will inspire you to define your own truth and manifest it. It will allow you to spend more time discussing all the things that are important in your life and in your future within a safe and confidential environment. What do former students say about this class?

“This class has been the most enriching, inspirational, and applicable class I have ever taken, and I am incredibly grateful for all of the life lessons I have learned.”

“One of the decisions that I am happiest with was deciding to register for this class but I can confidently say that this is one of the most worth-while courses that I have taken in my collegiate career and I feel that JMU is doing its students a disservice by not making this a required class.”

“This class has never made me wonder its usefulness, as I feel this is the one class I have taken at JMU that will travel with me forever and prepared me the best for my life after I graduate.”

“It is really cool to watch myself transform throughout the duration of this class. The questions, techniques and lessons learned will truly always stick with me.”
