Program Description
JMU in Colombia is a 3-phase program that offers 6-credit hours in Supply Chain Management (MGT 461) and International Logistics (MKTG 462). The program is open to all college of business majors who have completed COB 300 and all students that are accepted to the Global Supply Chain Management minor.
Location Description
Phase-1 (Washington, DC):
- Washington, DC from June 4th - June 7th, 2022
- Preparation and implementation of the first phase of the team project that includes components of social entrepreneurship, international logistics, and supply chain management.
Phase-2 (NYC):
- New York Ciy, NY from June 7th to June 9th, 2022
- Preparation and implementation of the first phase of the team project that includes components of social entrepreneurship, international logistics, and supply chain management.
Phase-3 (Cartagena, Colombia):
- Cartagena, Colombia from June 9th to June 20th, 2022
- A UNESCO World Heritage site and home to Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar (UTB).
- Work on an international import/export project with Colombian students
- Visit the beautiful Centro Histórico de Cartagena, taste local food, and enjoy the tropical islands.

Accommodations
Phase-1 & 2: Students will be provided hotel rooms with double occupancy.
Phase-3: Students will be provided rooms with double occupancy, free wifi, and maid service at executive suites of Orange by Travelers, in Cartagena, Colombia.
Students will be provided everyday breakfast and occasional group meals.
Additional Items to Consider
No visas required for Colombia for US citizens staying less than 90 days.

Applicant Criteria
Applicants must have a GPA minimum of 2.0
Prerequisites: COB 300C or ISAT 211
Must be accepted to COB or Global Supply Chain Management minor
Some Spanish will be helpful
Junior or senior standing
