UREC offers student Athletic Training services for sports-related injuries! This service is provided in partnership with Sentara RMH. Our Athletic Trainers are licensed healthcare providers in the state of Virginia and hold the state credential of Certified Athletic Trainer.

In the Athletic Training Room, the Athletic Trainers help evaluate and identify injuries, provide acute care, and educate students on next steps to care for their sports injuries. Athletic Trainers are also be on-site for specific high-risk Sport Club events.

Students must register for an Athletic Training Room appointment. If you cannot make your appointment, cancel before the start of your appointment block to avoid a no-show.

See the FAQ below for questions related to Physical Therapy and more.

The University Health Center is available for students for all general medical concerns, view their services such as "Ask a Nurse." The UHC website also provides information regarding emergency and after-hours resources.
