Please follow the specific driving directions and parking information for your exact Residence Hall below. Follow any posted signage throughout campus and obey all normal traffic laws.
Please note that fire lanes, accessible spaces, and access aisles will continue to be enforced at all times for the safety of the JMU community. Please do not leave a vehicle unattended for any length of time in these areas.
Bell, Hillside and McGraw-Long Halls
If you are coming to campus to help move out a student in one of these halls you should use I-81 Exit 247B
- Travel West on East Market Street/Route 33
- Turning left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way at the first traffic light
- Proceed along Martin Luther King Jr. Way through two more traffic lights
- Turn left into the C4 parking lot just past the second traffic light
- Continue towards your residence hall and park near the building; Being careful to avoid obstructing the fire lane
- For Hillside Hall, parking will occur on the field in front of the hall (similar to move-in day)
- Access the field by turning left after proceeding up the service drive towards Bell and McGraw-Long Halls.
- Do not use the sidewalk near Hillside Hall to access the field.
