Please follow the specific driving directions and parking information for your exact Residence Hall below. Follow any posted signage throughout campus and obey all normal traffic laws.
Please note that fire lanes, accessible spaces, and access aisles will continue to be enforced at all times for the safety of the JMU community. Please do not leave a vehicle unattended for any length of time in these areas.
Harper Allen-Lee, Converse, Gifford, Logan, and Wampler Halls
If you are coming to campus to help move out a student in these halls you should use I-81 Exit 245
If you have been traveling northbound:
- At the top of the ramp, turn left onto Port Republic Road
- Continue on Port Republic Road to the third traffic light (South Main Street)
- Turn right and stay in the right lane
- Travel on South Main Street for just over 2 blocks to the first traffic light
- Turn right into campus on Bluestone Drive.
- The parking area for these halls will be your first left-hand turn after turning on campus
If you have been traveling southbound:
- At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Port Republic Road
- Continue on Port Republic Road to the second traffic light (South Main Street)
- Turn right and stay in the right lane
- Travel on South Main Street for just over 2 blocks to the first traffic light
- Turn right into campus on Bluestone Drive.
- The parking area for these halls will be your first left-hand turn after turning on campus

Hoffman & Wayland Halls
If you are coming to campus to help move out a student in Hoffman or Wayland Hall you should use I-81 Exit 245
