The University Health Center provides evaluation and treatment for a wide variety of medical concerns. Our clinics are staffed by experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Examples of medical conditions frequently evaluated in the health center include but are not limited to the following:

Most appointments can be scheduled by using our online scheduling system in MyJMUChart or by calling (540) 568-6178 during business hours. Appointments are typically available within 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday). Appointments are 20 minutes long, which provide ample time for your evaluation and to have all your questions answered. Students with immediate health needs can also walk into our 1st floor location. Students that walk in will see a nurse to determine the best course of action.

Not sure if you need an appointment? You have options:

  • Check out the Self-Care Guides
  • Call (540) 568-6178 and ask for a nurse to call you back
