To be considered for graduation, undergraduates must:
- earn at least 120 cumulative credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
- earn at least 50% of the required cumulative credit hours(minimum of 60 based on programs requiring 120 credits) from a four-year institution, including JMU
- earn at least 25% of the required cumulative credit hours through enrollment in and completion of classes at JMU
- satisfy general education requirements
- satisfy course requirements for the specific degree (BA, BBA, BFA, BIS, BM, BS, BSN, BSW)
- satisfy course requirements for the major program with a 2.0 GPA or better
Graduation Deadlines:
Candidates for December graduation may begin to apply for graduation via MyMadison on May 1.
Candidates for May or August graduation may begin to apply for graduation via MyMadison on October 1.
