Guest Passes
Participants with active memberships may host a maximum of two guests per visit for a fee at UREC or University Park.
Guest Pass Policies
The host is responsible for the conduct of their guests while in the facility and the host must be present in the respective facility at all times. All guests are expected to display conduct in adherence to all UREC policies. If any violation of UREC policy occurs, the guest will be asked to leave and no refund will be available.
Guests must be 16 years old or older to participate during regular operational hours. Guests 16 and older must show a picture ID upon entry, may participate in any area/activity (with the exception of programs requiring registration), and their host is not required to be in the same area of the facility.
Guests 15 and under are only permitted during Family Hours and must remain in the company their host at all times. Hosts must pay for guests ages 3 and older.

*Non-Student Members include JMU full-time and part-time faculty/staff, emeriti, affiliates, alumni, and spouse/dependent members.
Guest fees can be paid in FLEX. Add money to your card at or by calling Card Services, through MyMadison, or on our Dart machine (located at the Welcome Center) via exact cash.
Daily Guest Passes can also be purchased online on URECRegister. Alumni can purchase daily passes through the JMU Alumni Association. If purchased online, bring the guest pass number to UREC for the Member Services staff to validate.
The weekend fee includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
