COVID-19 Sport Clubs Update

At UREC, we know that Sport Clubs are very important to the college experience and we are working hard to be able to create a plan to allow for club activities that can be done safely. Below you will find a link to the Sport Clubs Phased Return to Play Guidelines detailing the approach of returning to play this Fall semester.

Please read the guidelines below and contact the Clubs directly for more information about their plans and to inquire about which phase they are currently in.

Sport Clubs Phased Return to Play Guidelines

About Us

JMU Club Gymnastics is a co-ed sport club that has approximately 60-70 members. You can choose to compete in competitions or just practice for fun. Competitions usually start in mid-November and end with Nationals in mid-April.

How to Join

The club is open to anyone; there is no tryout process.

Time Commitment

Five practices per week are offered that last for two hours each.

All members must come to at least two hours of practice each week.

During the spring semester, if members are competing at Nationals they must commit to four hours a week.

Dues

Dues are $100 per semester or $160 for the entire year.
