Daniel Chandler joined the UREC team in August 2021 and currently serves as the Assistant Director for Intramural Sports. 

Daniel received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management from James Madison University in 2019. He continued his journey in collegiate recreation at the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he earned his Master of Arts degree in Sport Administration in 2021. While there, he also served as the Graduate Assistant for Intramurals.

Daniel grew up in northern Virginia. He enjoys hiking, reading, going to the movies, and bowling. He currently officiates Division 2 and 3 women's college basketball. Daniel's favorite aspect of UREC is the emphasis we put towards learning and development for the participants and student staff.
