Josh joined UREC in 2026. As the Assistant Director for Sport Clubs, Josh oversees the Sport Clubs operations, compliance and engagement for all registered Sport Clubs. 

Josh received a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Composite Secondary Education from Utah State University and worked as a Competitive Sports Supervisor with Utah State Campus Recreation. 

After graduating, Josh worked at Utah State University as the Coordinator of Competitive Club Sports while completing his Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences. Later, Josh moved to Fargo, North Dakota where he worked as the Assistant Director for Club Sports, overseeing the implementation of the Club Sports program with University Recreation.

Josh grew up in Tooele, Utah and enjoys spending time with his family, participating or watching sporting events and playing video games. His favorite aspect of UREC is the opportunity to work with students and support their programming while providing educational experiences that support their overall collegiate experience.
