With over a decade of experience in teaching, advising, and student success roles in higher education, Dr. Scott Brevard has dedicated his career to building impactful and meaningful student experiences at institutions across the country. He earned his B.A. from James Madison University, M.A. from the University of Georgia, and Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago. He joins the Honors College as the Director of Honors Student Engagement. As a native of Harrisonburg, Dr. Brevard is especially excited to help Honors students discover a strong sense of home—both on campus and in the surrounding community.
