Having a bank account in the U.S. will help to facilitate the transfer of funds. CommonWealth One bank is located on the JMU campus. Other banks in the local community, such as Bank of America, Atlantic Union Bank and Wells Fargo, are popular options for JMU international students. While they may not be located on campus, they are located close to campus and students can use the JMU bus system. Our office works closely with Atlantic Union Bank. They offer minimal fees, such as overseas transaction fees.
To open an account at Atlantic Union, you can choose either branch:
