Study Abroad in Public & International Affairs
Many students in our department study abroad at some point during their JMU careers. If you decide to conduct a study-abroad program (whether through JMU or via some other university), please check with your major advisor to clarify if and how the courses offered might count toward your JMU degree.
Over half of our department's faculty have led study-abroad programs. If you'd like advice on studying abroad, reach out to a faculty member.
Remember that the application deadline for full consideration for all JMU undergraduate study-abroad programs is November 1, 2021 with regard to summer 2022, fall 2022, and spring 2023 opportunities.
While this webpage focuses on undergraduate study-abroad opportunities in public & international affairs, our department's faculty also direct a master's program in Italy focused on European Union Policy Studies.
