Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions should be uploaded with your electronic application and may be used for departmental admission review purposes. If offered admission, you will be directed and required to submit to the JMU Graduate School an official transcript from any institution from which a degree has been awarded to finalize your admission. Transcripts are considered official if they are sent to JMU directly from the issuing institution.
Required by Program
- Two-to-three page written statement
- Resume
- Submit two Letters of Recommendation (one from an individual who can speak of your potential as a graduate student and another who can comment on your professional dispositions)
- Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Miller's Analogy Test (MAT) at the 25th percentile is required, IF the undergraduate GPA is below 3.0. Otherwise, a standardized test is not required.
- An interview will be conducted with candidates
