An inclusive, engaging introduction to innovation mindsets, with hands-on reflection and creative confidence-building. Great as a kickoff or culture reset.

Ethics and Innovation – Using the JMU Mission as a Compass (TD2700)

Explores how to apply ethical reasoning to innovative efforts; includes frameworks and case-based discussions.

Session 3:
Design Thinking – The 5 Stages to Generating Solutions (TD2701)

Introduces human-centered problem-solving through empathy, ideation, and prototyping. Includes a live challenge activity.

Creative Confidence & Risk Taking – Overcoming the Fear of Failure (TD2702)

Reduces fear of failure and builds creative self-efficacy through storytelling, mindset exercises, and low-stakes experiments.

Focuses on psychological safety, collaboration across difference, and decision-making in team-based innovation.
