Accessibility is a priority at all of our workshops. The following accommodations are available at every session to ensure all participants can fully engage and participate in the learning experience.
- Suggested microphone use for workshop sessions with 12 or more participants
- Seating without arms
- ADA compliant PowerPoint slides and handouts (NOTE: TD facilitators use a TD template. We cannot guarantee that non-TD facilitator materials will include the same considerations.)
- Captions for all videos
- A QR code for most slides being presented
- Printed copies of slides at each table for many workshops
- Encouraged movement and or standing during workshop sessions
- Fidget toys at each table
- Blankets for warmth
- Puzzles in workshop rooms for focus
- Parking information supplied in advance
- Overview of workshop rooms and emergency plan at the beginning of every session
- Seating arranged in small groups
- At least one break for each hour of workshop time
- Enrollment caps appropriate for topic Workshop Accommodations
