Background

A native of Port Republic, Virginia, Cindy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech. Cindy has been with the Office of Research Integrity & Compliance since September, 2014, and is responsible for administering the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC), and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Cindy’s responsibilities include ensuring that student and faculty researchers are compliant with federal and state regulations as well as university policies in human, animal, and biosafety research protocols.
