Biking

There are multiple covered bike racks located at UREC. 

Bus Stops

The closest bus stops to UREC are the Hanson Hall and Jennings Hall bus stops. From the Hanson Hall stop, walk down the steps through Duke Dog alley and turn LEFT up hill to UREC. From the Jennings Hall bus stop, take the steps down towards the Convocation Center and turn RIGHT on the sidewalk. Follow the sidewalk down towards the Interstate, but turn right before Duke Dog Alley to the UREC entrance. For current bus schedules, visit the Harrisonburg Department of Transportation web site.

Directions from I-81: 

Take EXIT 245-Port Republic Road/VA-253. From North I-81, turn RIGHT on Port Republic Road, or, from South I-81, turn LEFT on Port Republic Road. Turn LEFT on Forest Hill Road. Turn LEFT at the stop sign on Oak Hill Drive. Oak Hill Drive turns into University Boulevard. Take University Boulevard until you see the Convocation parking lots on your LEFT. Park (in the lot you have a pass for) and walk down the hill past the Convocation Center and you will see UREC on your RIGHT.

Parking Near University Park

Parking is available in lots U1, U2 and U3 on the campus map. Visitors to campus can obtain a pass to park in assigned lots from Parking Services in the Champions Drive Parking Deck.
