About Us

We are a co-ed club team with approximately 42 members each year. We operate in both the Fall (indoor) and Spring (outdoor). We compete at four tournaments each year, all in the Spring semester. These include the Lancaster Archery Classic, USA Archery Indoor Nationals, Collegiate Target Regionals, and Collegiate Target Nationals. JMU Club Archery hosts Indoor Nationals and Target Regionals!

How to Join

Anyone is welcome to join the club. There are introductory practices for new members and team equipment for use. There is a travel team (usually about 24 members) which becomes exclusive for members with more experience and/or skill for bigger tournaments.

Time Commitment

Practice is held six days per week. For the indoor season in the Fall, practice is generally held for two hours each. For the outdoor season in the Spring, practice is held for roughly four hours each. Members do not need to stay for the entire practice time.

Members do not have to come to each practice, but it is suggested to come at least three to four times per week.

Dues

Dues are $90 per semester or $150 for the year. This may vary.
