TEAM Challenge Course

UREC's TEAM (Team Empowerment with Adventure for Madison) Challenge Course is a custom group adventure teambuilding program. Programs are designed to encourage learning related to communication, leadership, trust, community-building and other custom outcomes.

The TEAM Challenge Course is located adjacent to University Park and Neff Avenue. Large parking lots are available if you arrive by way of Devon Lane (1090 Devon Ln) and accessible parking spaces are available off of Neff Avenue.

COVID-19 Update - Requesting a TEAM Challenge Course program

UREC is now offering both virtual and in-person TEAM Challenge Course programs with procedural modifications and safety measures:

  1. Do not come to the program if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, a cold, or the flu.
  2. Bring your own mask(s).
  3. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the day and required at specific times. (You can also bring your own hand sanitizer).
  4. We strongly suggest you bring your own water, at minimum your own bottle or cup.
  5. We will have 5 gallon water refill stations – refills will be available by a gloved staff member.

    A note from the company who inspects our course: Assume that the virus is on your hands all the time and adjust your behavior accordingly. 
    For implementation at TEAM we are requiring hand washing or hand sanitizer before and after activities regardless of interaction with others.

Here's how to request a program for your group:

  1. View our TEAM Challenge Course Menu to select the in-person or virtual program that best meets your team's needs.
  2. Fill out a Request Form. (The request form must be submitted a minimum of 21 days prior to the requested date(s).)
  3. A TEAM staff member will be contact with you via email in 3-5 business days with further instructions.

The listed prices are per participant. All groups will be charged for a minimum of 8 participants.

(All virtual programs will be offered at half price. Details of specific program pricing will be discussed in your pre-program meeting.)

*Approved student organizations, academic classes, and student government can apply for a TEAM Challenge Course grant to get your program fees covered. See "funding options" on the Request Form. Once grant funding maximums have been met, student groups will be notified and charged accordingly.

**Prices will be determined based on group size, group needs and staffing needs.
