The JMU Honors College Symposium is an annual event held every spring that showcases academic research and creative scholarship by JMU Honors students. It is part of the James Madison University Scholarship Expo, an annual celebration of academic excellence. Graduating seniors give poster presentations about their Honors Capstone Projects, answer questions, and discuss their work with the public. Students in select Honors seminars and Area of Emphasis courses may also present their unique, interdisciplinary work. Overall, this symposium is a signature feature of the JMU Honors College experience.
