Committees

Staff Advisory Committee:

The Staff Advisory Committee is comprised of college staff volunteers who meet monthly to discuss topics of interest to the group, to provide feedback to the dean on college issues involving the staff, to administer the Staff Recognition Award and to plan the end of the year workshop. All staff members are eligible and are encouraged to serve.

Academic Affairs Administrative Staff Advisory Council:

AAASAC is charged with providing administrative employees, both full and part-time, with the opportunity to share knowledge, collaborate to develop effective strategies for unit-assigned activities, gain experience in committee service, and to provide feedback to the Provost Office on problems and emerging issues.

This fund supports professional development opportunities for CAL staff by providing financial assistance for continuing education and training as well as for professional conferences and travel.
