Contract and Building Coordinator - Forbes Center for the Performing Arts
The JMU College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) seeks applications for a full-time Contract and Building Coordinator for the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts. This position provides expert coordination of the artist contract lifecycle for the Forbes Center and ensures effective management of the Forbes Center facilities, including access control, repairs and maintenance coordination, safety processes, and fixed-asset stewardship, in support of the Director and the mission of CVPA. The successful candidate will translate Director-approved deal memos into compliant artist agreements and manage contract workflows through approval and execution, while also serving as Building Manager for the Forbes Center, coordinating facilities services, access and security, and fixed assets.

Technical Director - School of Theatre and Dance
The JMU School of Theatre and Dance (STAD) is searching for a Technical Director. This is a full-time, 12-month, Administrative and Professional Faculty position in the College of and Performing Arts (CVPA), reporting to the Director of the School of Theatre and Dance. This colleague will supervise and participate in the execution of all departmental productions (Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Dance) while overseeing the management and maintenance of the scene shop and its related spaces (e.g., performance venues, storage spaces, etc.) and equipment. Teaching opportunities are available in technical direction and related areas.
