Collection Boxes
Collection boxes may be used to collect non-monetary donations such as food, clothing, and other similar items. In The Union, there are six approved collection box locations available for reservation. Two spaces are located in Taylor Hall at the entrance to the Taylor Down Under (TDU), two spaces are located on the second floor of Warren Hall near the mailroom entrance, and two spaces are located on the third floor of Warren Hall near the Student Life Office. Each collection box space must be reserved individually.
Collection box spaces may be reserved for up to two weeks at a time. The reserving organization is responsible for supplying the collection boxes and any accompanying signage, as well as monitoring and emptying the boxes throughout the reservation period. Requests to reserve collection box spaces should be submitted through Virtual EMS. Once the request has been reviewed and approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the requestor.
