Mission

The mission of the Office of Student Creative Activities and Research (S-CAR) is to develop and promote programs that increase student participation in research and creative endeavors. S-CAR also prepares students to engage in research practice and equips faculty and staff to mentor and support students in their research efforts.

The Office of Student Creative Activities and Research (S-CAR) aspires to be the hub connecting students with research and creative opportunities while promoting inclusive excellence in student scholarship at JMU.
