Katie Greaney is the Graduate Assistant for Operations & Student Development. Katie is pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership with a concentration in Campus Recreation and is expected to graduate in May 2026. Katie received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from UNC Chapel Hill. During her time at Carolina, she worked for Campus Recreation as an operations supervisor and spent a gap year working as the Facility Operations professional intern.

Katie is from Chapel Hill, NC and enjoys spending her free time reading, cooking and trying new restaurants. When she is not working, you can find her exploring bookstores and cheering on the Tar Heels.
