Rebecca Wood joined the UREC Team in 2023. As the Office Manager, she oversees the office assistant student staff.

Before becoming the Office Manager at UREC, Rebecca worked 7 years at JMU as the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Management and Marketing Department in the College of Business and as a Travel Analyst in Accounts Payable.

Rebecca was born and raised in Shenandoah County. She has been married for over 30 years and has two sons and two grandchildren. She loves the outdoors and going on road trips with her husband. She also serves on the board of directors for Response, a non-profit agency in Shenandoah County providing shelter, advocacy and resources for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
