Isaiah Black joined UREC in 2023 and is currently serving as the Coordinator of Club Sports. He oversees the logistics and student development of all 52 sport clubs that UREC has to offer.

Isaiah received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Old Dominion University in 2021. He then continued his journey in collegiate recreation at James Madison University where he earned his Master of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership in 2023. While there, he also served as the Graduate Assistant of Sport Clubs and Inclusive Recreation.

Isaiah was born and raised in Fishersville, VA right in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He enjoys being outdoors, playing golf, being with friends and family and likes cheering for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and ODU. Roll Narchs! His favorite aspect of UREC is the opportunities that are provided for students to continue to do what they enjoy or learn something new that they will take with them after college.
