APC - Athletic Performance Center, also known as Plecker. Houses Student-Athlete Services, Football Strength and Conditioning, and the football offices.
AUBC - The Atlantic Union Bank Center is JMU's basketball stadium for men's and women's basketball; Athletic Facilities and Game Operations offices are housed here.
Bridgeforth - Bridgeforth Stadium is the campus football stadium, housing Zane Showker Field.
Carrier Library - One of the four main JMU libraries; located in the Bluestone area of campus.
Commons - The area outside of D-Hall where organizations advertise and hold events.
D-Hall - Gibbons Dining Hall, located in the Bluestone area of campus, is one of the original dining halls on campus.
Duke Dog Alley - The campus-connecting walking tunnel underneath interstate 81.
E-Hall - East Campus Dining Hall.
Festival - Located on the east side of campus, Festival houses a dining hall, conference spaces, and the Off-Campus Housing Office.
Festival Lawn - The grassy lawn area behind the Festival building.
Forbes - Forbes Center for the Performing Arts houses multiple theater spaces and concert halls for JMU's student and theater groups as well as visiting performers.
GTC - Godwin Transit Center is the main bus terminal on campus; located next to Bridgeforth Stadium.
Godwin - Godwin Hall houses the Athletic Department, the Department of Kinesiology, the School of Hospitality, and Sinclair Gym, where JMU volleyball competes.
Holland Yates Hall - Holland Yates Hall houses the Physics Accelerator Laboratory, the Center for Global Engagement, Admissions, Access and Inclusion, and the Graduate School.
Ice House - Located in downtown Harrisonburg, the Ice House houses resource rooms, event spaces, the School of Professional and Continuing Education, and University Marketing and Branding.
JMAC - The IT training center located across from the Warsaw Parking Deck..
King Hall - Houses the College of Integrated Science and Engineering (CISE); located on the east side of campus.
Memorial - Memorial Hall, located off of High Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way, is the home to JMU's baseball and softball programs.
Rose Library - Commonly referred to as ECL, short for East Campus Library, Rose is one of the four major JMU libraries.
SSC - The Student Success Center houses the University Health Center, the Information Technology Helpdesk, the University Business Office, and much more.
The Quad - The academic quadrangle located on the Bluestone side of campus.
TDU - Taylor Down Under is the hangout and study space located in the basement of Taylor Hall.
USB - The University Services Building houses the Facilities Management department.
Wine-Price - Houses the Office of Human Resources, Talent Development, and Procurement.
