Application Deadline

Admission to the certificate program requires that applicants have completed at least a bachelor's degree.

An online application must be completed a few weeks before the start of the semester in which you intend to enroll.

Program Begins

Unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions should be uploaded with your electronic application and may be used for departmental admission review purposes. If offered admission, you will be directed and required to submit to the JMU Graduate School an official transcript from any institution from which a degree has been awarded to finalize your admission. Transcripts are considered official if they are sent to JMU directly from the issuing institution.

Personal essay - Describe why you are interested in pursuing the graduate certificate in Cyber Intelligence. (450-650 words, double-spaced)

Two Letters of Recommendation - one letter should be a faculty member at the last institution you attended as a student (unless you have been out of school for more than 5 years). A substitute for faculty letter may be a work supervisor or other person who can comment on your potential for graduate work.
