What is Cyber Intelligence?

Cyber intelligence involves the tactical and strategic analysis of not only cyber threats, but also of the adversaries (threat actors) behind those threats. Working alongside cybersecurity professionals who focus on technical issues, cyber threat intelligence analysts use frameworks (i.e., NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and methodologies (i.e., kill chain) to analyze the why and who behind cyber threats. Cyber threat intelligence analysts are key members of any effective cybersecurity team.
