Dr. William Rodick leads P-12 practice work at The Education Trust, a national nonprofit advancing educational equity for students of color and students from low-income backgrounds. His portfolio spans math and literacy policy, diverse representation in K-12 curricula, censorship and right-to-read issues, and environmental justice in education. He convenes educators and subject matter experts, connecting practitioner voice to national policy work, and translates research into tools educators and advocates can use directly. Before EdTrust, William taught middle and high school English and worked as a research and evaluation contractor on federal projects for agencies including the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education. He holds a master's degree in curriculum and instruction and a Ph.D. in education policy, with a secondary specialization in advanced research methods, from George Mason University.
