Dr. Melanie Richey is the CEO of Merigold Analytics, an advanced and emerging technology implementation firm. Her areas of expertise include the design and implementation of agentic systems, machine learning technologies and generative AI, agent-based modeling and simulation, technical due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, graph analytics, serious game development, and the cognitive and behavioral sciences. Throughout her career, Dr. Richey has developed several sole-source client programs, led competitive technical prototype teams, and built technical practice areas and organizational competencies across multiple service organizations.

In addition to her professional work, Dr. Richey is an adjunct professor, avid gamer, international traveler, and chef, with interests spanning worldbuilding, technical solution development, global cuisines, and immersive storytelling. She earned her Ph.D. in Computational Social Science (Modeling and Simulation) from George Mason University.
