Dr. McKenzie Patrick is an Associate Principal Scientist in Research & Early Development at Bayer, where she leads and supports multidisciplinary drug discovery programs focused on developing precision medicines for patients with cancer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from James Madison University and a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Drawing on her experience in academic and industry research, Dr. Patrick is committed to bringing her perspective to help guide graduate education and prepare the next generation of scientists with the knowledge, skills, and adaptability needed to succeed in the evolving biomedical workforce.
