Hannah Overby is a Regional Internship Manager at Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP), where she supports InternshipsVA, a statewide initiative dedicated to expanding high-quality, paid internships across the Commonwealth.

Hannah joined VEDP in 2023, previously serving as Training Manager on the International Trade team, where she strengthened training strategy, outreach, and business engagement efforts statewide.

Driven by a deep commitment to public service, Hannah began her career as an Economic Analyst with the CIA and has since held roles in the Governor’s Office and higher education. She is passionate about lifelong learning and enjoys connecting people to resources, building cross-sector partnerships, and designing programs that strengthen talent pipelines and expand access to opportunity.

A lifelong Virginian, Hannah earned her B.S. in Economics from Randolph-Macon College.
